Job Purpose:
Oversee daily workshop operations, including maintenance, repairs, and installation activities, ensuring efficient performance, equipment readiness, and compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise workshop activities and assign tasks to technicians according to priorities and skills.

Plan and monitor work schedules to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair activities.

Ensure equipment and machinery meet technical specifications and quality standards.

Enforce health and safety procedures, conduct inspections, and guide staff on safe working practices.

Monitor spare parts and materials, coordinate procurement, and optimize resource utilization.

Maintain maintenance records and prepare reports on workshop performance and productivity.

Coordinate with relevant departments and recommend improvements to reduce breakdowns and enhance efficiency.

Requirements:
Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

3–5 years of practical experience in workshops or industrial environments; supervisory experience is preferred.

Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance and industrial equipment.

Excellent leadership, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to read technical drawings and interpret engineering specifications.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Familiarity with maintenance management systems, ERP, or maintenance tracking software.
