Job Purpose:

We are looking for a Logistics Supervisor to oversee inbound and outbound shipments, transportation and deliveries, lead the logistics team and coordinate with internal departments and service providers to ensure timely, accurate and cost-effective movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan daily and weekly logistics activities and coordinate loading, dispatch, receipt and urgent deliveries with Procurement, Warehouses and Sales.

• Assign vehicles and routes, track shipments through delivery and proof of receipt, and coordinate vehicle readiness and maintenance.

• Supervise drivers and logistics staff, allocate work, monitor attendance and performance, and provide training and guidance.

• Verify shipping documents and maintain ERP records; coordinate import/export and customs clearance where applicable.

• Monitor transport and freight providers, verify service invoices and track freight, fuel and handling costs against approved budgets.

• Follow up returns, shortages, damage and delivery complaints, document incidents and coordinate corrective actions.

• Prepare logistics performance reports, improve routes and processes, and enforce safe handling, secure loading and company procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.

• 3–5 years of logistics or transportation experience, including supervising staff or coordinating operations; sector experience is an advantage.

• Proficiency in Excel and ERP logistics/inventory modules, with knowledge of transport planning, shipment tracking and cost analysis.

• Knowledge of import/export, customs procedures and Incoterms where relevant; good English for documentation and external coordination.

• Strong leadership, planning, communication, analytical and negotiation skills, with accuracy and accountability.

• Ability to prioritize, solve problems and meet deadlines under pressure; relevant professional certification is an advantage.
